JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Humane Society and Animal Care and Protection Services connect pets to loving homes during PetSmart Charities National Adoption Weekend.
NARRATIVE: Three men shot and two dead after altercation in northwest Jacksonville
The Jacksonville Humane Society and Animal Care and Protection Services are partnering with PetSmart Charities to host a large-scale adoption event at Southside and Regency PetSmarts March 5-6.
During the in-store event, JHS and ACPS invite potential pet parents to meet the pets available in their area. Opportunities will be given to spend time with animals that need loving homes in a spacious area.
Staff and volunteers will help potential adopters learn how to care for a pet and the types of tools, products and services they might need.
