Lewisville Grand Theater will host Plano artist Michael Holter for a three-day watercolor workshop presented by the Visual Art League of Lewisville. Holter painted most of his life and taught art for many years. Michael is a member of the North American Watercolor Society, American Impressionist Society, Watercolor Honor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society, Outdoor Painter Society, and Southwest Watercolor Society of Dallas, among others. Adopt a pet

Lewisville Animal Services is running a special adoption offer from February 2 through February 2. 19. Adoption fees have been reduced to $20 for all dogs. The usual adoption fee is $90. Adoption fees include a microchip, all basic vaccinations, neutering, heartworm testing, and optional free 30-day pet insurance. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. $20 (adoption fee). The Lewisville Public Library will host Tween Scene every third Wednesday of the month. Each class will organize a new adventure of science, art and technology.
